DESCRIPTION

Gaba (gamma-aminobutyric acid) is an inhibitory neurotransmitter produced by the central nervous system and its concentration decreases with age. This amino acid is used by the brain to promote the states of tranquility and calm.

How does GABA act?

GABA is the brain’s main weapon in the fight against stress and nervousness. GABA helps to maintain the integrity of nerve cells, preventing the “burning” i.e. their fatigue. Gaba is present in the hypothalamus, the gland that regulates the instinctive functions such as sleep and some activities of the pituitary gland , such as the regulation of the levels of growth hormone (HGH).

What are the effects of the administration of Gaba?

  • Relaxing effect, reducing anxiety in healthy subjects (the effect will be installed approximately one hour after administration).
  • Promotes relaxation and sleep without causing dizziness or confusion unlike some sleeping or relaxing prescription medicines.
  • Can reduce the intensity of pain as a result of stress reduction.
  • It has good effects on epileptics who no longer respond to conventional drugs.
  • Improves cognitive function in the elderly.
  • It increases the secretion of HGH (human growth hormone), especially after exercise. Many athletes like to relax after a physical exercise. It helps in muscle growth.

For maximum effect we recommend the administration on an empty stomach (e.g. after exercise or at bedtime) or at least 30-45 minutes before or after meals and / or taking other supplements.

Gaba has been the subject of numerous clinical trials, especially to cases of panic disorder, psychiatric cases and in cases of substance abuse (alcohol and drugs). Tests have shown that Gaba decreased by 22% the level of panic attacks. All studies have demonstrated effectiveness of Gaba for anxiety reduction, relaxation and the protection of nerve cells in certain stressful situations.

In patients with schizophrenia were found to have a deficiency of Gaba.

What distinguishes Konig Laboratorium’s GABA product?

First of all, because it is not a synthetic product like most GABA supplements on the market.

Konig’s GABA is extracted from natural sources, ensuring maximum purity and effectiveness.

Since it is not synthetic, it does not need to be administered in large amounts like synthetic forms, and it does not have their side effects.

Thirdly, Konig has combined it with L-theanine and P5P (pyridoxal-5-phosphate), a coenzyme form of vitamin B6 that studies have shown to be the most effective for enhancing the action of GABA.
