DESCRIPTION

Triglycerides are fats (lipids) that circulate in the blood. Not to be confused with cholesterol. They are different types of fat. Any value above 150 milligrams per deciliter of triglycerides (mg/dl) is considered high and increases the risk of heart disease and stroke. Very high (over 500 mg / dl) can cause pancreatitis (inflammation of the pancreas). Often high cholesterol values are accompanied by high triglycerides (dyslipidemia). Dyslipidemia is a condition characterized by altered fat metabolism evidenced by modifying the Cholesterol, LDL-cholesterol, HDL-cholesterol and triglycerides.

In the cases of dyslipidemia, conventional medicine recommends synthetic statins (like Crestor). These synthetic statins not only have serious side effects but in many cases only reduce total cholesterol and less the triglycerides and/ or LDL (bad cholesterol). In these situations we recommend Lipidol specifically formulated to act on triglycerides and LDL.

The ratio between LDL and HDL should be no more than 2.9 in women and 3.3 maximum men. Higher ratios are considered a risk for cardiovascular accident.

Lipidol contains chitosan, known for its triglyceride lowering effect. But it is associated with two synergistic ingredients that potentiate its therapeutic action, namely Beta glucans and a highly concentrated extract (10:1) from Fenugreek (Trigonella foenum graecum) an Ayurvedic herb renowned for its numerous therapeutic effects.

Lipidol not only reduces triglycerides but also acts on lowering LDL cholesterol.

According to recent monographs issued by the Canadian Ministry of Health, Chtiosan, Beta Glucan and Fenugreek (also called Greek fan) reduce blood lipids (triglycerides) and reduce LDL (bad cholesterol).
