Kelp is a seaweed that lives mainly on the coasts of Norway and the east coast of Canada.
Contains more than 60 minerals, 21 amino acids, simple and complex carbohydrates and some plant growth hormones. Being rich in amino acids, vitamins, minerals and trace elements, is the reason for which is recognized as a promoter of glandular health, in particular of the pituitary, thyroid and adrenal glands. It is a natural source of iodine, with antibiotic action in killing germs.
By adjusting the pituitary gland and the thyroid also plays a beneficial role to some digestive functions. One of the additional advantages of this algae is its ability to remove radioactive strontium and other heavy metals accumulated in the body. Kelp also contains alginic acid which binds to toxic substances in the intestine and therefore makes them easy to remove.
