DESCRIPTION

Chelation therapy (chelation)

It is a chemical process by which an amino acid called EDTA (ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid) is either injected intravenously or ingested and assimilated or rectally introduced as a suppository to remove calcifications, heavy metals or undesirable minerals from the circulatory system and internal organs. This therapy is increasingly widespread, especially in Canada and the United States and more recently in Europe.

By what is remarkable the Provita Nutrition chelated micronized disodium EDTA in gastro-resistant tablets?

Simple EDTA is not tolerated by the body, there are 3 chemical forms of EDTA used for therapeutic purposes: disodium, calcium disodium and di-calcium. Of all  these, the disodium form is the most bioavailable and most effective from therapeutic point of view, but it is also the most expensive and hard to tablet. Furthermore, the disodium chelated form, that is, not chemically combined, but it is bound by chelating, is the most avid of calcium, losing easily the link with sodium  in exchange for calcium and heavy metals. By micronization (reduction of particles to micronized size), bioavailability is further enhanced by making a larger and intimate contact with arterial calcifications.

Ordinary tablets or capsules dissolve rapidly in the stomach where much of the EDTA is destroyed by the very acidic gastric juice, leading to the reduction of the therapeutic effect and some undesirable effects such as burns, stomach discomfort or vomiting.  Provita tablets are coated with 8% gastro-resistant film, thick enough to prevent dissolution of the tablet in the stomach for at least 2 hours, enough for it to pass through the duodenum into the small intestine. Thus, the tablet reaches intact in the intestine where it quickly disintegrates under the action of intestinal juice. The release of EDTA directly into the intestine not only increases its bioavailability to the maximum ((and therefore the therapeutic effect to), but also completely eliminates unwanted stomach effects. The addition of malic acid has a synergistic effect due to its particular affinity for heavy metals, especially aluminum.

To chelate (or chelation) comes from the Greek language and it means to bind, to take. Chelation with EDTA determines the binding of superfluous metals such as: mercury, iron, arsenic, aluminum, calcium, lead, copper, etc. and their removal from the circulatory system and internal organs. Calcium and copper are considered most responsible for the formation of atherosclerotic plaques on the walls of the circulatory system, leading to strangulation of blood flow, whitch means, atherosclerosis.

EDTA therapy leads to the binding of the metals in the body by this compound, and then they will be removed by EDTA, together through the urinary system. Some physicians successfully use chelating therapy for treating atherosclerosis or coronary heart diseases. EDTA (ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid) is known to bond to calcium within the arterial plaque deposits (part of the atheromatous plaque that obstructs blood flow and lead to arterial wall stiffening and weakening). Thus it eliminates the calcium deposits in the arteries, reducing the risk of developing coronary and heart diseases. Some physicians believe that ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid can also act as an antioxidant by removing metals combined with LDL (bad cholesterol), which produce inflammatory artery diseases. This theory holds that the removal of metals which circulate freely in the blood (especially copper and calcium) may slow the progression of diseases like atherosclerosis.

However, EDTA has other therapeutic valences. Having an anticoagulant effect, prevents blood clotting conditions thrombosis, thrombophlebitis). It also has an anti-plaque effect eliminating plaque aggregation on atheromas. Plaques aggregate are adherenting palques to one another, and is seen as the precondition to blood clotting when a blood vessel is damaged. This can also lead to greater damage when it occurs on an atheroma plaque: in this case it favors the formation of a thrombus (clot) that detaches and obstructs, for example, a small vessel that irrigates the brain,  what constitutes a transitory ischemic accident. Larger clots can reach the heart with catastrophic effects. They can also block certain arteries or veins leading to thrombophlebitis.

EDTA is also recommended to prevent clotting and embolus formation or migration (embolus is a blood clot or a piece of plaque) following a heart attack, a brain clot (hemiplegia), or hemodialysis (blood cleansing of wastes with a dialysis machine). Blood thickening is a generic term to describe a decrease in blood fluidity leading to vascular accidents, non-irrigation at smaller vessels, capillaries, peripheral vessels. The causes may be multiple.

In any case, EDTA has the property to keep the blood fluid up to solving the cause of the disease.

The benefits of EDTA

  • dissolves and eliminates calcium deposited on the walls of blood vessels;
  • regulates cholesterol levels (increases the good cholesterol HDL), reduces triglycerides;
  • increases sensitivity to insulin;
  • reduces blood sugar;
  • dissolves and prevents the formation of blood clots, the cause of vascular accidents;
  • eliminates and prevents plaque aggregation, the cause of “blood thickening”;
  •  regulates calcium metabolism and calcium calcifications releasing and making it available to be deposited in the bones and teeth;
  • dissolves and removes the nano-bacteria shells deposited in the circulatory system and internal organs (cysts);
  • dissolves and eliminates heavy metals accumulated on the blood vessels and in the rest of the body;
  • removesa ccumulated toxins from the body;
  • improves the blood circulation of the brain;
  • improves erection;
  • visible positive effects on the liver, kidney, prostate, peripheral blood circulation;
  • strengthens the immune system.

Why so many positive effects?

Very simple. By cleaning the arteries and eliminating heavy metals, all organs are cleaner, better irrigated with blood (and therefore better supplied with nutrients and oxygen), working at maximum possible parameters.

When EDTA is associated with Formula Flow (which removes cholesterol from the arteries), is made a general and complete cleaning of the circulatory system which leads to the elimination of atheroma and to a visible improvement in the quality of life.

But calcium is deposited not only on blood vessels or on heart valves. Basically all organs and joints are affected by calcium deposits with chronic and acute degenerative effects. There are theories that calcifications are one of the causes of the appearance of cancer in the affected organ.

Yes. Taking them together is even recommended, as EDTA and FLOW complement each other. Flow formula helps the body to remove cholesterol deposits and EDTA eliminates mineral deposits leading to hardening of arteries and possible breaking down of capillaries (especially those irrigating the heart muscle and brain). These deposits consist of Calcium, Heavy metals, Minerals, fibrin and cellular debris building-up on the artery inner walls. If you already finished the Flow formula treatment, EDTA therapy is still recommended to be done (directions for use just like for FLOW: 1 bottle for every 10 life years). And it is important to remember that EDTA does not only act on arteries, but also addresses calcifications in other parts of the body, particularly the internal organs. Recommended dose is 2-3 capsules per day, on an empty stomach, before bedtime

No!

EDTA only removes metastatic and pathogenic calcium from places where it is harmful and where it does not belong (arteries, heart valves, internal organs, veins). Quite the opposite: EDTA helps osteoporosis by adding back restored calcium to the system, but not enough to actually treat osteoporosis. The Osteoporosis therapy is a treatment in itself, and should be continued as recommended by your physician.

This depends on the degree of heavy metal toxicity in your test results. For lighter deposits, EDTA will do the job. But if you have been identified with large deposits of heavy metals (serious Mercury deposits or even more substantial Lead deposits), then DMSA would be a better choice because it works faster for two of the most toxic pollutants (mercury and lead).

Yes. EDTA can prevent evolution of this disease caused by artery calcification (hardening) or mitral stenosis of heart valves.

Recommended way of use is: 1-2 tablets per day, for 6-12 months, taken on an empty stomach, before bedtime.

In order to prevent cholesterol deposition during this treatment, Flow Formula is recommended (take 3-6 tablets per day, for half the period recommended for Atherosclerosis patients). See Flow Formula product description. You can then continue taking Flow Formula with 2 tablets per day (it can also be taken as a daily Multiple Vitamin and Mineral Supplement).

As a rule, Atherosclerosis is caused by atheroma (build-up) on arterial inner walls and even on the heart valves, and consists of: cholesterol, heavy metals, calcium (as limestone) and mineral debris. Therefore, a full treatment is supposed to eliminate these deposits altogether. Formula FLOW helps the body to remove cholesterol, and EDTA eliminates the rest.

You may feel well and in good health, but as we all are continually exposed to physical, mental, emotional, psychological, chemical and toxic stress and pollutants, it is difficult to maintain a real state of good health. A large number of the maladies affecting us are “silent” (that is they are just quietly building up) to a point when symptoms reveal a serious condition we have to face. Practice shows pathological calcium, heavy metals, fibrin and other cellular debris are constantly building up in our bodies.

The answer to your question is YES, one bottle of EDTA is wise prevention. An idiom says: “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure”.

EDTA is actually extremely beneficial for diabetes patients. It enhances insulin efficacy (both your own body insulin and by injection). Many times insulin supplementation by injection could be eliminated altogether, and patients were able to resume a normal life.
