  • Varicose veins
  • Deep vein thrombosis
  • Lymphatic stagnation
  • Inflamed lymph nodes
  • Lymphatic edema
  • Hemorrhoids

What are the benefits of Lymphstream Maximizer?

  • Recommended in case of cancer, lymph nodes inflammation, enlarged spleen, lymphatic blockage, infections, but also for the maintenance of a healthy lymphatic system.
  • It has anti-inflammatory and anti-edema effects.
  • It has veno-tonic and capillary protection properties.
  • Helps reduce lymphedema symptoms.
  • Helps reduce symptoms related to phlebitis and post-thrombotic syndrome.
  • Helps reduce the symptoms of venous conditions, such as varicose veins.
  • Clinical studies of the ingredients in Lymphstream Maximizer have been shown to effectively relieve the symptoms of varicose veins, hemorrhoids, anal bleeding, thrombophlebitis or postoperative edema.

We will present below the functions of the venous and lymphatic system, how interdependent they are and how important they are for our health.

The venous system brings the blood back to the heart and is composed mostly of superficial veins (located under the skin) and deep veins located in the muscles and parallel to the bones. Venous thrombosis is a thrombosis in a vein, caused by a thrombus (blood clot). A common form of venous thrombosis is deep vein thrombosis (DVT), when a blood clot forms in the deep veins. If a thrombus ruptures (embolizes) and flows to the lungs, it can induce a pulmonary embolism (PE). Cerebral venous sinus thrombosis (CVST) occurs when a blood clot forms in the venous sinuses of the brain. This prevents blood from leaking out of the brain. As a result, a blood vessel can rupture and bleed into the brain tissues, forming a hemorrhage (stroke). A stroke can affect the brain and central nervous system and can be fatal or cause serious sequelae.

The lymphatic system is a parallel network of vessels that carry the fluid called lymph. These very fine vessels, some of them 50 times thinner than the hair, called lymphatic capillaries, are found in all body tissues and unite, forming two large lymphatic trunks: the thoracic canal and the great lymphatic vein. The large lymphatic vein collects lymph from the right side of the body and neck, from the right upper limb and from the right half of the thorax, and the thoracic duct collects lymph from the rest of the body. Both lymphatic trunks open into the veins that bring blood from the upper limbs. So, the lymph – which was born of the blood – eventually returns to the blood. T lymphocytes (white blood cells) are generated in the lymph nodes. As a result of infections or other conditions such as cancer, the lymph nodes increase in volume and become palpable. The lymphatic system is very important for the health of the immune system because it carries lymphocytes and other immune cells. Unfortunately, the lymphatic system is less taken into account. It is only when we become ill that we become aware of its overwhelming importance.

Lymphatic obstruction is a blockage of the lymphatic vessels that drains fluid from body tissues and allows immune cells to travel where they are needed. Lymphatic obstruction can cause lymphedema, which means swelling due to blockage of the lymphatic tract.

There is an intrinsic correlation between poor venous circulation and lymphedema. This condition is best described as Phlebolymphedema, a mixed etiological inflammation due to chronic venous insufficiency (IVC) and lymphatic insufficiency.

Therefore, it is important to treat the venous system and the lymphatic system simultaneously.

Melilotus (Melilotus officinalis) is used to relieve the symptoms of discomfort and weight of the legs related to venous circulatory disorders and for edema of various types. It is also found in Indian medicinal plants, where the key application is for venous insufficiency and for the supportive treatment of thrombophlebitis, hemorrhoids and lymphatic congestion.

Butcher’s Broom (Ruscus aculeatus) is a traditional plant for relieving the symptoms of discomfort and weight of the legs related to venous circulatory disorders and lymphatic blockage. In a randomized, double-blind, multi-center study, Butcher’s Broom administered alone increased lymphatic drainage and capillary sealing action. A meta-analysis of three randomized, double-blind, cross-sectional studies concluded that Butcher’s Broom increases venous tone and reduces capillary filtration, resulting in increased lymph flow in patients with edema.

Horse-chestnut (Aesculus hippocastanum) is a plant traditionally used to improve venous blood flow in varicose veins by acting synergistically with Melilot and Butcher’s Broom for venous thrombosis and varicose veins.

Chinese rhubarb (Rheum officinale). Studies indicate that Chinese rhubarb may be effective in inhibiting the flow of leukocytes and proteins from blood and lymph vessels to lung tissue, preventing pulmonary sepsis.

Heal-All (Prunella vulgaris) is a lymphatic plant that supports the movement of lymph in the lower body (for example in the legs). In Traditional Chinese Medicine, it is used to “soften hardness” (enlarged lymph nodes). It is used for goiter, lipomas, mumps, mastitis, lymphosarcoma and scrofula (infectious lymphadenitis).

Hesperidin. Hesperidin is a bioflavonoid that improves venous flow and peripheral circulation and when combined with Horse-chestnut, improves lymphatic kinetics and therefore lymphatic flow.

Selenium. There is also clinical evidence that a combination of Butcher’s Broom and Selenium offers a double benefit, as Butcher’s Broom improves lymphatic flow, while selenium (from L-Selenomethionine) has been shown to improve lipedema.

LYMPHSTREAM Maximizer offers three of the most studied ingredients traditionally used for venous and lymphatic insufficiency, namely high potency extracts of Aesculus hippocastanum, Melilotus Officinalis and Ruscus aculeatus. It also provides hesperidin and selenium, which have been shown in clinical trials to have a positive synergistic effect.

In conclusion, LYMPHSTREAM Maximizer is designed in an orthomolecular-synergistic formulation to drain the lymphatic system and simultaneously improve blood flow through the veins. It also strengthens the vein wall to improve varicose veins and hemorrhoids.
